• Anthropic: Essay text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely to generate writing analysis. Anthropic's use of data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: We use Supabase to store user data and files. Data is stored in encrypted, access-controlled databases.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and essay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable any available account security features.
